Wholehearted Living Course Outline:

1. Your 90-Day Path to Authentic Living

  • Introduction to Your Journey:
    Get a high-level overview of the entire 90-day process, from understanding your inner world to living out your true purpose.
  • Meeting Your Core Parts:
    Learn about the three central parts of who you are: your True Self (your non-conscious mind or spirit), your Inner Child (your soul), and your False Protector.
  • Setting Your Intentions:
    Set a personal commitment for how you want to show up through this journey, in order live more authentically, loving yourself and others well.

2. Preparing the Ground Within

  • Understanding the "Freeze" Response:
    Briefly learn about your body's "freeze" response, or dorsal vagal shutdown, and how to move out of it using these calming techniques.
  • The Mind-Body Connection:
    Learn simple exercises to increase alpha and beta brainwaves that create a safe, calm space within yourself for deep inner work.
  • Envisioning Your New Reality:
    Use a powerful envisioning exercise to visualize the behavioural and emotional changes you'll experience when you live from a place of truth and love.

3. The Power of Reflecting

  • Your Three-Part Method:
    Learn a powerful method to get to know yourself on a deeper level by thinking, writing or drawing from the perspective of your True Self, Inner Child, and False Protector.
  • Behaviours, Emotions & Physical Manifestations:
    Understand how lies and limiting beliefs show up as unhealthy behaviours, overwhelming emotions, or even physical challenges (like chronic tension, digestive problems, allergies or other illnesses). Journaling helps bring these hidden patterns into the light for healing.
  • Mapping Your Inner World:
    Explore a specific negative behaviour, detailing how each part of you feels, any physical sensations, and the underlying thought patterns.

4. Healthy Authentic Communication

  • Communicating in Difficult Situations:
    Learn how to communicate with others when you have been hurt.
  • Processing Hurt First: Learn how to deal with the emotional reaction (hurt, anger, fear) privately before the conversation. Learn how to love yourself, so you can love others.
  • Focusing on Assertive Gracious Communication: Learn how to use gracious statements to describe the impact of the the other person's action on your experience. Clearly articulate your needs and boundaries, without resorting to blame.
  • Collaborating on Solutions: Discover how to acknowledge the other person's perspective, and work together towards a mutually agreeable solution.

5. Breaking Free from Limiting Beliefs

  • Identifying Limiting Beliefs:
    Use guided journaling to uncover deep-seated fears and beliefs that restrict your potential.
  • Linking Belief to Behaviour:
    See how these beliefs shape your actions and keep you from living authentically.
  • Finding a Liberating Truth:
    Discover a powerful, personal truth based on security and love that directly opposes your limiting belief. This truth can come from your spirit, a sacred text, or your core values.
  • Applying Your Truth:
    Learn how to apply this truth to your daily life, beginning the process of rewiring your mind neurologically for self-love.

6. Embracing Your Inner Child

  • Understanding Your Inner Child:
    Learn how this part of you holds both your deepest wounds and greatest joys.
  • Why We Feel Disconnected:
    Explore how suppressing your Inner Child leads to pain and distance from your True Self.
  • Start a Compassionate Dialogue:
    Listen, validate, and nurture your Inner Child.

7. Transforming Your False Protector

  • Recognizing a Protector's Role:
    Learn that your False Protector was developed to keep your Inner Child safe, but its methods often lead to harmful behaviours like lashing out or self-sabotage.
  • The Stages of Grief:
    Understand how your False Protector often acts out unresolved grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance) and learn how to move through these stages with compassion.
  • Choosing a New Path:
    Identify the behaviours of your False Protector so you can begin to love yourself enough to choose a different, healthier path.

8. Connecting to Your True Self

  • Meeting Your True Self:
    Be introduced to your True Self, also referred to as your non-conscious mind or your Spirit; the whole, complete, and wise part of you that is connected to a higher source.
  • Letting Your True Self Lead:
    Learn how your True Self can lovingly guide both your Inner Child and False Protector.
  • Celebrating Your Transformation:
    Reflect on your incredible journey and celebrate the significant changes you've made.
  • Moving Forward:
    Create a plan for maintaining your practice beyond the course, fully connected to your True Self and capable of loving yourself and others well.
